False.
The first semester is always incredibly challenging. You're now facing real competition from your peers, some of whom have the necessary insights or fast mathematical brains that make it sound easier. It is essential that you talk to your tutor:

"Why am I just not getting how this works? What do you think I'm missing and what can I do to help to put it right?"

I doubt this, certainly not true of American universities which are not set up like University in whatever country you are referencing. And I would hope that "once your in" would not pass at your University for "you're" the correct spelling.

FAULT !
A GOOD UNIVERSITY ENGINEERING CLASS ELIMINATES AT LEAST 50% , MOSTLY JUST 30% COMPLETES THE DEGREE WITHIN 4 YEARS.

False. Almost half of all university students flunk out.

Depends so much on the University. In the USA, elite universities like Harvard and Yale are failing very few of their students, and nearly all will complete their degrees -- perhaps 98% or more. Some US uni's that are science-oriented will lose somewhat more students: Caltech graduates about 92% of their entering students. In the USA, state universities have lower graduation rates; an example I happen to know about is Arizona State U, which graduates about 63% of those who enter. Things may be quite similar in other nations. Oxford graduates 98.4% of its entering students, but less prestigious British universities may lose more students along the way.

I agree with "bird b" who suggests that the engineering class is more likely to be "weeded out" than the other streams in the university.

Very false.
