Should I go to my year 10 formal?

I moved to this school last year and I've only got a couple close friends but theyre not going :( I have other friends but I don't feel as comfortable around them. I'm only hesitant because we don't have year 12 formal (only valedictory) and Im honestly not sure if I'll make it to year 12.

If you don't go, you may wonder for the rest of your life whether you should have.If you do go, there's a small chance you might have fun, but even if it's boring, there won't be a lingering life question - you'll just be out whatever expenses there were for the formal.
The choice is yours.
