Okay so I've always been part of the 'popular ' group in school and just recently me and 4 of my friends have been feeling really left out. They always do stuff as a 4 ( there's 8 girls in my group as we recently split)
Me and my friend are thinking about leaving the group and joining a less popular group but they are really nice.
I'm worried to leave in case I won't get invited to parties when I get older ( I'm 13 turning 14 in January )
Does it matter if I don't go to parties??
Does parties matter in high school?

Is it worse to go to no parties, or is it worse to stay "friends" with people who make you feel left out for years on end?
