I want to become an Architect and go into Construction business but I am not at all creative and rubbish at drawing but really good in Maths and Physics. So there is a second option which is the Structural Engineer. They are good and maths and physics and don't need to be creative but their salary is very low, they don't get the credit and there is no scope of growth in that sector. On the other hand my friends recommended me that I should have a career in the IT industry because I'm very good with computers and technical stuff. This is true, I am good in computer programming and HTML program writing and there is also scope of growth in the IT industry. But people are saying that IT industry is a lot of hard work and you have to go days without sleeping to complete a project. I am not saying I am scared of hard work but it makes me rethink about it. I am only a freshman and the courses I will choose from now on should be in accordance with my selected career. What should I do? Please help me!!
Here in the UK Structural Engineers are paid shed loads of money. They are the experts who are responsible for the building not falling down.
It takes years of training, your view of them is totally wrong.
