It happens to the best of us. Seriously though... There are first class soccer players that have missed open goal golden opportunities. You need to let it go. Whenever I mess up in a game I always drill in my head that I need to forget about it. My lack of concentration and fear of messing up again is going to affect my playing and the outcome of how my team mates play.
One of the best phrases to remember, that every team I have ever played for, follows is "What happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch". Don't let it affect your social life at all. If people mock you about it. Try not to get mad. Just laugh with them. Even though you messed up, it's really not the end of the world.
A strong person can look at their mistakes and laugh at them.
