What happened to gmail and when will it work again?

I need to get my mail but I havent received any on gmail for the past couple months. Also what other email services are there that are free besides yahoo?

Everyone else is getting their gmail emails, and all their regular spam senders are still able to cause problems for everyone else.

Gmail is probably the best free email service provider out there. Another good alternative is Microsoft outlook.com. I agree with lanab that problem is on your end.

There is nothing wrong with GMAIL. Mine is working fine.

Gmail had an outage for a few hours several weeks ago, but apart from that it's running fine. Problem is at your end.
