Write a BALANCED chemical equation and classify the reaction type for each of the following. Use condensed structural formulas for all organic compounds.

a) ethane --> ethane + hydrogen.
Reaction Type: hydrocracking.

b) hexane --> benzene + hydrogen.
Reaction Type: hydrocracking.

c) 4, 4-dimethylpent-2-yne + hydrogen --> propene + methylpropane
Reaction Type: hydrocracking.

d) methylbenzene + oxygen --> carbon dioxide + water vapour.
Reaction Type: Combustion.

e) nonane --> 1-ethyl-3-methylbenzene + hydrogen.
Reaction Type: (I couldn't figure this one out??)

I don't know the last ones reaction type. I also don't know how to write out the condensed structural formulas for whichever ones needed them. THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE, SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! I know there's a lot and getting them all done would be so heavenly, but honestly help with any would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU!!

a) Supposing you meant: ethane --> ethEne + hydrogen
C2H6 → C2H4 + H2

b)
C6H14 → C6H6 + 4 H2

c)
H3CC≡CC(CH3)2CH3 + 2 H2 → H2C=CHCH3 + H3C(CH3)HCH3

d)
C6H5CH3 + 9 O2 → 7 CO2 + 4 H2O

e)
H3C(CH2)7CH3 → C6H4(CH2CH3)(CH3) + 4 H2

[I would call the reaction type "imaginary", since I doubt very much it happens that way. Just on the face of it, it's a decomposition and a ridiculous rearrangement.]
