How do you feel about the 9/11 victims being able to sue the Saudi officials?

Stupid idea. What are they going to do 15 years after the fact, this is an embarrassment to our government.

Other nations are not bound by our court decisions, so no judgments will lever be paid, and no lawyer in any of these countries would take the case because if they did, they would be found in an alley beheaded

So this is a lot of campaign hooey. Nobody will collect a penny from any of those countries

I think it's idiotic. Saudi Arabia did not commit the 9/11 attacks. Al Qaeda did. Plus, it has been 15 years. Federal statute of limitations on wrongful death is 2 years. And, it opens up the US to similar reprisals from other countries. We're not exactly squeaky clean in the causing deaths arena.

I think it's a fruitless endeavor. It's about as credible as thinking Mexico will pay for the wall.

Its dumb in my opinion, its like blaming a father because his son did something bad which he didn't even influence or got involved with.

I approve. The chances of collecting damages on a suit like this are less than 1%, but it sends a message.

It's another exercise in futility the Republicans dreamed up to make Obama look bad. The republicans know that not 1 victim will see 1 penny from the Saudi's.
