Moths are totally harmless. Turn the light out, they simply land somewhere. Put a light on in another room, they usually go there.
If they are a nuisance, I just catch them by hand and toss them outside or feed them to my house spiders.
You're lucky that you're not already dead! Moths are the silent killers, that have sent to many innocent people to an early grave. Pack your bags and go!
Get the vacuum and suck him up through the hose. This is particularly entertaining at night, outside near a bright light....
Thwuuump! It's a satisfying sound
Fly swatter works every time. But be sure to keep an eye out for what looks like maggots & where they seem to be coming from. Various species of moths larvae are very maggot looking (I learned this from experience). My apt was top floor below the attic. I discovered them (larvae) coming from around my ceiling light, indicating they were in the attic. I put black elec tape around the lights base where it's attached to the ceiling. Every time I seen any larvae, I used bath tissue to get it & flushed it. Took about 3 days but I finally got rid of'em
