I have been known 意思是"素為人知,眾所周知, 人盡皆知",意指過去如此,目前也是。慣常的用法有以下兩種:

1.) have been known + as a Role
i.) I have been known for some time as a person who speaks the truth and speaks it strongly. I have always called a liar a liar and a hypocrite a hypocrite. -- Cindy Sheehan

ii.) Aldridge clearly must have been known as a womanizer--and a miscegenizing womanizer at that.

2.) have been known + to do something
i.) I have been known to take a glass of champagne when I've won a league title. I have been known to have a couple of glasses of champagne when I've won the European Cup. Twice. I have been known to have one before getting on an aeroplane because I'm a wee bit frightened of flying.

ii.) Like President Clinton, I have been known to overestimate the intelligence of my partners.
