What do i do if I am falsely charged?

I looked at my transaction history and it says i was charged $17.50 for Time and ESPN Magazine, when i never bought them. The only thing i can thing of is when i made an account for FYE, but they said it was a free month subscription when i made an account. I didn't give them my card, but i paid with it. Ik its not much but I'm a teen and i don't have a job, the debit card is how i get an allowance, so its a lot for me. What should i do? Call FYE? is it already too late? It happened yesterday and it still says pending. Thanks

Go to the bank. They can investigate it.

You were not falsely charged. That free one-month subscription was only free for a month and you were required to go back to the site and cancel the subscription before 30 days or you would be charged for it. It will be in the T&Cs

"free trials" usuallymake it very hard to cancel after the free period is done. If you don't follow the ruls EXACTLY, you get charged.

Go to the bank to see if you can cancel the transaction. Always be Leary when people start asking for your account information. Do not give it. You signed up for something with a free trial and they bet you forget and charge your account.

These guys don't tell you they will automatically renew your "free" subscription unless you submit a cancellation notice within a very small window of time, or if they do reveal this information it is either in very small print or buried deep in reams of legalese. Bottom line is, you bought yourself a valuble lesson -- if an offer sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

It was probably a subscription where you get a month free and then it begins charging if you dont cancel.
