no idea. that movie isn't a great movie. while it looks great visually. it has bad directing, acting, screen writing, and everything else involved in making the movie. i think it just did well at the box office because it was one of the first to use 3D showings, and people bought the hype.
there are better movies on Netflix i'm sure than avatar.
