Ancient Egypt and Lucid Dreaming Question. Any Egyptologists here?

There's not a lot on the subject, tbh, at least that I'm aware of. From what I've read, they didn't do meditation, at least not in the way we're familiar with it. Most of their woo was focused more on the here and now--practical stuff like protection or curses. Dreams were important, and they did do divination to figure out what they meant, but I can't recall seeing anything about lucid dreaming. It would definitely fall under the umbrella of heka, so you might look into ancient Egyptian magic in general, but I don't think lucid dreaming was a big thing back then.

They weren't really into lucid dreaming. That's a new-age spiritualist thing, and there just weren't that many hippies living in ancient Egypt.
