Is my tattoo infected?

Its my first tattoo and i got it monday. I went back and they said it could be from using to much a & d ointment . they told me to get anti bacterial soap and aquaphor and start using that.

Give it a week if it doesn't go away go to a doctor

I would get that checked out, I ended up in the ER once with an infected tattoo.(cellulitis)
