most of my friends on facebook get like 150 likes on their pics, i only get 40, how can i get more likes?

Well it depends on how many Friends You have on Facebook. You should be able to get more Likes. Try to contribute Yourself! It takes time getting more Likes, depending on how active You are on Facebook.
