LG remote on Sony tv?

So I lost my Sony remote, and i was wondering if there's any way to set up a remote for the Sony tv. Can I use an LG remote or something? Help

The remote for another brand of TV isn't going to work, particularly because it's not likely to be programmable at all. Your best bet is to check the model number of your Sony and Google that with "remote." Then buy a remote specifically intended for your TV. That's a much better option than any universal remote and more likely to work correctly.
