My Girlfriend's sister and me was talking on facebook just a few minutes ago.
We were talking about black american culture and where it comes from, where they got it from and how it developed into what we think of it today.
And she said,
You're from Philly, so why don't you engage in things like Rap, and Basketball and things like that.
I told her, that just because I grew up in Philly and poor, doesn't mean that I grew up around Blacks
I grew up around a mixture of people, in an integrated environment that was majority Irish.
Not in a "Black Neighborhood"
And the kinds of things that Blacks do and why, and the kinds of things that the Irish do and why are different
The Irish are bullies, they're abusive, and they want to fight everyday over differences
The blacks are more exhibitionist, they generally won't want to fight unless you want one.
But when they're on the offensive..
They want money.
That's the difference in their criminality.
I don't engage in rap, because that's not my calling, that's not my influence, that's not who I am.
I'm not an exhibitionist...
I'm more of a silent enforcer, or a bully, than what I am an exhibitionist.
And my sports are wrestling, boxing, baseball, and football.
That's where my skills are, that's where my body is
I'm also not a typical product of Philadelphia
None of my family is from Philadelphia.
I'm the only one from there, in my whole family
People like Eminem in Detroit had a hard life.
I had Hell
That's a big difference too
