for a few months i've noticed my pee smells really bad, kind of like meat...really gross.
the internet says uti but surely if i've had this for a few months it would become painful which it isnt.
what else could it be?

Feces. If you have an unnatural opening between your rectum and bladder, feces could be getting in there. That would not be a minor problem.

You can totally have a UTI where the only symptom is bad smell. That'd probably be my first guess... and honestly the one you'd *like* it to be, because pretty much everything else with the kidneys would be worse news.

Lack of water. Not enough fluids, causes dehydration which makes your pee smell bad. Push the liquids. Drink water.
