Are Catholics suppose to wear crosses or crucfixs? Or does it not matter?

I can, but don't. I have one that I'll wear to Mass two or three times a year. You don't need special permission to wear a cross or not wear a cross or crucifix. It is a personal piety. My ethnic group doesn't wear them as a matter of identity.
They don't have to wear them at all. If they do, they have a choice.
Neither is "required wear".
If wearing something of the sort, it is not required that it be specifically a crucifix or that it be specifically a cross. Either is allowed.
it is voluntary , but must be prepared to answer to "why wear it ."
I prefer just a simple cross for wearing. A crucifix is appropriate in church.
Doesn't really matter, but they usually prefer crucifixes.
They should wear something that identifies him so we know to keep our children away from them.
