Thailand travel site cant help you, it appears, and neither can anyone else.
I think you are just stuck.
PS, authentic products here are rare with China pumping in so many knock offs.

My feeling is the Samsung should honor the warranty anywhere in the world. I think they are given you the run around. But one thing I have learn is that they will buy the product in Hong Kong and bring it to Thailand without paying custom taxes to the Thai government and then make more profit when they sell it. Which of course is illegal. But the item is registered for sale in Hong Kong so they do not accept the warranty. Something to think about.

The phone may work. Asia uses a different frequency than the U.K. or America. So you need a quad band to work all over the world. When traveling it is best to buy a cheap phone from a pawn shop to use there. One with a load & working. Many who come here were I live take there phones to a shop & have them change frequency. To make them work here. You may need do that there. If so you are out. Phone will work in most of Asia only.

Whenever you buy any electronic items (specially expensive ones),check with the seller if they give you
"INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY ". With international warranty, you can get your electronic items serviced anywhere in the globe free of cost during the warranty period.
If the seller can not provide, then you can not get fee service even if the item is in warranty period.
So in you case seems that your purchased item has no international warranty. You need to pay and get serviced in any local or authorized shops in your city.

Get a good lawyer and settle it in small claims court for attorney fees, the cost of the phone a services and Samsung's breech of contract.

Contact the place where you bought it and ask them for a contact number where you can call if the phone breaks. ...it would help if you can get someone who can speak thai to them. ...also, you could try fixing it yourself. what's wrong with it?
