I'm considering studying law. What subjects should I study in high school and university? Also are there any jobs in law that don't involve actually speaking in court. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
Please and thank you.
If you enjoy it, good idea. You can become a paralegal. They basically assist a lawyer (do research, find documents, etc.) but aren't involved in court. Study history, and any other law classes. Business Law is a great class for that.
Only litigators/barristers speak in court. There are several fields of law where lawyers do not represent clients in court, such as a real estate lawyer and a wills & estates lawyer.
