How do I change my Yahoo! icon?

Click on the green "My Profile" link in the upper right of this page to open your profile.
1. Click the "Edit My Info" link.
2. Click "Edit My Yahoo Avatar" under the current one on the far right.
3. In the next page that opens, click on the category tabs above to find items to try on.
4. Click on the Appearance tab to change the avatar's face, eyes, and hair style and color.
5. Click on the "Apparel" tab to choose an outfit.
6. Click on the Extras tab to select bags, jewelry, eye ware, scarves.
7. Click the Backgrounds tab to select a background.
8. When you spot something you like, click it, and you'll see the new look in the "Avatar Preview Window" on the left pane.
9. If you don't like it, uncheck it under "What I'm trying on" in the "Preview Window" on the left.
10. When finished selecting/saving each item, go to the new avatar on the left and click "Save Changes" in the orange bar under it. Go to the new Avatar on the right and click "Use My Yahoo Avatar."

I changed mine over the week end since I had a camera icon on my old one, here is how to change if your picture has camera Icon on it
Since the camera icon comes and goes it may take a few tries to get it changed.
Update your Yahoo account profile image
1. Sign in to your Account Info page.
2. From "Personal info", click the camera image.
3. Choose the photo you'd like and click Open.
4. Edit the photo by cropping or rotating it.
5. Click Crop and save when you're happy.
Image requirements
• Image file size: 5MB (maximum)
• File format: .jpg, .png, .jpeg
• Image resolution size: 192x192 (minimum)

You can only do this if you have a camera icon on your account. Go to Account Info under the gear, Personal Info tab and click on the camera icon if it is there. If not you won't be able to. Avatars and the editing of profiles were disabled more than a year ago. They are making changes to them. No one knows when or if they will be enabled again.
