I want to go vegan but I can't find "cheese"?

So I've wanted to go full vegan for a while now. But I LOVE cheese. It sucks. It's the only dairy I can actually stomach, and extra sharp cheese is my favorite. Its the only dairy thing I eat. I've heard of so many delicious brands but they're really pricey, which I'm willing to pay for, but I don't have a job at the moment because I'm 15, yet I plan on going to find a job in a week (when I turn 16). And my Dad is a little cheap even though he makes a decent amount of money (which is slightly irritating). Does anyone know any inexpensive brands I can eat in the mean time? Even if it is a little pricey you can still leave it below for when I'm no longer having my dad buy my groceries. (I don't tend to budget). I plan on buying half my own when I have a job bc I already know my dad will make me.

Hi I have a vegan diet and Daiya cheddar cheese slices is what I use for my sandwiches. Try them they taste good. Most of the people saying vegan cheese tastes bad has never eaten it before. Also, it is good that you eschew dairy cheese because dairy is not healthy to eat. Vegan cheese also has comparable nutrition to dairy cheese but without the lactose and casomorphins in it.

There are no good vegan cheeses. Even the expensive stuff isn't worth it.

Cheese is addictive it would be better wean yourself off it or go cold turkey. You can buy vegan cheeses and spreads but it does not taste the same.

Marmite is a good alternative to sharp cheeses. A little bit goes a long way, too.

Cheese is tough for Vegans. The Vegan cheese tastes like plastic.

I love Daiya cheese, but if you are a huge fan you're going to be able to tell the difference. After being a huge meat and cheese eater, I went vegan (and have been vegan for 6 months) and vegan cheese tastes just fine.

Don't waste your time/money. Vegan "cheese" doesn't taste like cheese. Take time to read the ingredients on a package. Do you really want to be putting those chemicals in your body?

You don't need cheese anyway.

Give up cheese.
The fake non-dairy cheese does not taste god and it does not melt worth a darn.
