I thought I had purchased a PS/2 keyboard, but they delivered a traditional USB keyboard. Now I wonder, if I use a USB-PS/2 adapter, can I use my USB keyboard by plugging it into the PS/2 slot on my computer?
If not, I have to buy yet another bloody keyboard.

I'm amazingly curious to know why you won't just plug the new keyboard into a USB port on your computer...this alone dumbfounds me. Is it an issue of "I have the hole on my computer so I'm going to use it?"

The keyboard itself has to be PS2 compatible, so it may or may not work. What is stopping you plugging it into to a USB?
