What are the advantages and disadvantages of each operating system?

Windows is relatively easy to use and hosts the most number of programs out there. What I don't like with it is it's insistence of taking control over the computer even on very mundane tasks.

Macs are easier to use and hardly fail. I recommend this for people who know nothing about computers but are required to use one.

Linux is complicated. Even the simplest ones are. They are very secure though if you know how to handle them properly.

Apple computers are expensive. Windows has had many problems, though in my opinion Win 7 and Win 10 are good operating systems. Windows has about 92% of the market. For some reason the publishing industry favors Apple (as well as the film industry). Linux Mint is the third most popular OS in the world.Unlike some variants, Mint is really easy to install and comes with a lot of free software. It takes up about 6 gb. of hard drive, which is little. Linux is quite resistant to viruses. The problem is that it's not compatible with all PC's or with all websites.
As for Google Chrome, in my experience it is very vulnerable to malware.
