Me and my ex still talks?

Me and my boyfriend broke up and I will do miss him. And it was my fought that we broke up and I apologize and he said we can still be friends and time will tell and all of that. And he also told me that he's not going anyway and still loves me but we text and talk all the time he told me that I need to work on myself and my attitude and stuff but he still wants to talk to me. It's just a lot to text and stuff but when we was on the phone he called me BAE, by mistake and he changed it up and called me by my name. What should I do still talk to him or no.

He doesn't get to have it both ways, either you two work on your problems as a couple, or you need to distance yourselves so you can move on. It really sounds like he's giving you false hope so he can keep you around as his back up. It's not fair to you and you are setting yourself up to get hurt. Soon he's going to start dating other people, ask yourself if you will really still want to be his "friend" then.

I stayed FRIENDS with ALL my Ex Girlfriends. We had something special that didn't workout LONG TERM. We don't hate each and neither of us is lonely when we talk. We also DATE other people and share and compare experiences.
