Different type of jobs in the hospital?

So what are the people who take the newborns, put them in this room, take them baths? Or are they just regular nurses? I want to have a job in the hospital that would work with newborns :))

My friend does after care with moms and babies. She is a registered nurse and loves her job!

Care of newborns is almost always exclusively by RNs.
Very few are trusted to carry out this kind of care, so those who take one or two classes at a community college generally don't get to work with them.

Most care of healthy newborns is done by their mothers. The rest is typically done by nurses.
(No idea what 'this room' is that babies are put in. Typically a newborn will be handed to its mother within seconds or minutes after birth. From that time on, baby stays with the mother.)

They are nurses that help care for the babies, as well as the mothers.
