How do I schedule a trip on the greyhound bus.?

I'm currently in Missouri and I need to get to Minnesota for work, but I never have rode on a bus. Do I have to schedule online? Would it take me to the specific city?

You go on the Greyhound or Megabus web site and see what routes they have. If one works for you, you buy a ticket.

They take you to the place you have a ticket for. They do not just drop you off randomly at the side of the road.
