Before I changed the password, there was a message warned me that all connecting devices will be disconnected once I changed the password but that didn't happen.
I tried to manually disconnect my devices and re-join the network using the new password but I was told that the password I entered was incorrect and I ended up having to use the old password, which means nothing has changed.
My router is a Linksys EA6300 one. I changed the password in the admin panel (the 192.168.x.x place). I am not sure if I have missed any steps such as switching off the router and switching it back on again, which I haven't tried yet.
By the way, I actually disabled the 5G network but my devices can still see the network and connect to it, which is just mysterious.
Why would these problems even happen? Why aren't the changes I made in the admin panel taking any effect? How can I fix them? Or does my router just suck? Please advice. Thank you very much.
更新1:
After I changed my password, only my printer can connect to the Wifi using the new password. Other devices like iPhone, iPad, Andriod mobile phone, laptops, etc can't recognize the new password and I have to use the old one for them.
