New iPhone 6s and iTunes help?

I want to sync my music from iTunes to my new iPhone 6s from my PC but iTunes tells me I need to upgrade to a newer version to be compatible with my new phone but when I go to check for an update it says that iTunes is up to date. So I guess my question is how can I sync my music if it won't work?

Initially make sure your iPhone is using the latest iOS.
Then on your computer go to the iTunes website download the latest iTunes installer, and install over the top of the existing setup. Try again

If the music is on iCloud you can go to "My Music" and look at the music you want and press the cloud button.
