City.. and as I was saying... If your account has been suspended or your questions / answers have been moved / deleted, then find out that the user Baby Tiger has over 15 accounts including the Level 7, She reports questions / answers and accounts which are then deleted / suspended.. She is the biggest FAKE of this site and it must be reported too, she also uses her many accounts to follow and push up their own questions in section Discover and the truth is that she can, and nobody can stop her... Well so she thinks

A farm within 15 minutes driving distance to a city. Preferably one that is abandoned and mossy so i can mountain bike all over.

Farm!

Who wants city noise,; filth, crime, nosy neighbors, incessantly barking status dogs......?

Farm country is freedom!

With the exception of the immediate availability of hospital care, all aspects of farm living are healthier and better than living in a city.

Farm sounds far more peaceful than anything New York or Chicago could ever offer me.

Besides, with the violence going on in the cities it'd be in my best interest to avoid them in the first place.

2016-09-02 2:22 am
I grew up in a small town surrounded by farms. When I got older my ex took me all over the us and showed me places like Chicago, San Diego, we lived in Miami for 8 months. I have to be honest, the country living was far more appealing to my taste. It all depends on what you're looking for. If it's just you or you and your significant other city living can be very fun. But it's hard to raise a family in a big city unless you are doing very well financially and can afford the best of things (home security, the best car insurance). I would pick farm but I also have 3 kids.
2016-09-02 1:09 am
A farm. Farms offer a healthy active lifestyle where children thrive and learn good life skills and are generally healthy. Country kids are less likely to be violent or criminal as they live in a society that keeps a better eye on each others kids, and the kids have respect for those around them. Cities are turning kids into lazy, unhealthy people where unless you have money and can pay for all your entertainment kids seem to bore easily. It appears as so many city kids don't get as broad a upbringing as country kids. I remember as a young man seeing young city people come out for fruit picking. They seem lost as they had few skills that many country people take for granted, and have little understanding of what is really happening in the world. They seem to think all their food is made in factories and struggle to comprehend that country people supply all the ingredients needed to make their food. They think the cities are the important part of the country not realizing that the rural areas supply the goods that bring in the big export dollars that keeps up our standard of living. Cities actually don't contribute a large amount towards the money coming in to a country and without export dollars countries quickly become third world. City people mostly feed off the dribble down effect of the work of country people and country people know when a financial crisis is coming because output of rural commodities has dropped (generally through drought) so export dollars will drop away and there will be less dollars dribbling down to the cities.
So country kids are generally better off than city kids as they still have space to move freely around and have simple entertainments that generally don't require money to enjoy.

Sometimes a farm could be nicer than a city you have a lot of nice views and its a great experience sometimes but in a city you can do anything i can't really answer your question because i do live in a city right now and its great I've only been to a farm with my school in year 1 but i don't remember much except a horse eating from my hand which i remember was amazing. Not everyone are animal lovers we are all different and thats what makes us human. But I'd like to imagine living in a farm would be amazing except all the manure and all so i guess a farm just because its different and nowadays i like different
2016-09-01 2:20 am
I thought a city because of all the various jobs and schools but I actually prefer land, silence, and the small town vibe of living on a farm. I can also send my children to school and they'd make lifelong friends who follow them to each grade. I'd say a farm.

First let me say ... I AM a city person, who when out of school made my decision. I live in the country. See, there are two completely different views here of what is important. In the city you have let's say a set of parking regulations so everyone can get along. You have zoning laws to tell you just how you are supposed to maintain your property, and need a permit to even improve your home.

There is no need for all those laws in the country. While in the city cops are there all looking for whatever they can issue to raise revenue to support the dept.. In the city a kid is FAR more likely to get an arrest record. That certainly messes up a kids life going forward. NOT the case in the country cause cops are few and far between. You can park anywhere you please in the country. Only need think of others. The guy next door may need to get his tractor down the road, so simply pull off the surface and leave room. Ain't no one gonna write you a ticket. Heck I can walk outside NAKED if I choose, jump up and down yelling at the top of my lungs like a wild man. No one cares, no one can see anything. I can pull the window open anytime day or night and fire my big rifle. BOOM, and no one cares. Certainly CAN hear that BOOM 3 miles away, no one thinks anything of it. Do that in a city and you would scare the HELLL out of everyone around. Yes, we do occasionally have a drive by shooting ...... For instance I killed a groundhog that was munching my neighbor's bean field just yesterday. Don't think he cared.
For myself, look at what a city offers .... compare then what living in the country offers. I think the best life is rather apparent. I can drive to the "city life" anytime I care. I can visit just as city folk come out here for a picnic...just a visit. Funny a city person is so ridiculously stupid about things wild in the country, just the same about a country person in the city. I just enjoy the heck out of the non policed being able to do anything I care to, and not go to jail for it. Out here no one cares about that sh!t.
ADDED : many places I have lived had ponds, and lakes. The city girls used to enjoy coming out by the lake to sunbathe. You know a complete tan without "tan lines". NAKED sunbathing, and no one cares. ( well I kind of liked it ) OH, by the way I have NO police record. Have not had a traffic ticket in over 40 years. Never called the cops in my life. Can y'all city people say that ?

Farm. All the other people who answered here must be city slickers who don't know anything about farm life. Did you know that outside the city you can actually sleep well, without sirens and loud music waking you up? I am personally not sure how anyone can stand to live in the city, and I was really surprised when I saw these answers. I have never lived in town, and hopefully never will. I live in what I guess you would consider a "small subdivision" now, but to me it feels urban. If you can't shoot a gun in the yard without having a house downrange, relieve yourself in the yard without the neighbors seeing you, or have chickens or livestock without the code enforcement officer fussing, it's too urban for me.

FARM!!! Country living is pure freedom!. You drive open roads, own private property, build a family , have a ton of friends, party unrestricted, off roading, shooting, making good money, privacy, peace and quiet, ATVs, sports are huge in farm towns, serious relationships, pickup trucks, build things, work on your own cars, own your home, have pets, go fishing and cruise...you do a ton of cruising in farm towns.
City is just dirty, poor, over crowded, no privacy, public transit and office jobs...
Most "farms" harvest crops and orchards, not raise animals.lol animals are RANCHING.
Most big farmers make a few $100k a year and live pretty nice.

I'd like to live in a city because there's a lot to do and shops, etc. But I find the idea of living on a farm oddly enticing. The isolation sticks out to me as a bonus, you are more separate to the rest of society, and I believe that would have tremendous advantages.

You have plenty of space, you're close to nature, you can own firearms with a much less chance of getting found, you can have plenty of pets, I can make as much noise as I want and construct my own recording studio.

On the down side, I wouldn't have night clubs to go to

Farm. Only because I like peace and tranquil moments of the British countryside, if I want city life I can choose where and when and for how long for short bursts say 2 days or a day out of organised chaotic shopping, (couldn't put up wth that noise and car beeps everyday) and then when I'm done I'll retreat back to the memories, sights of those rare enjoyable days of spending money knowingly I'd appreciate life as it should be. An inner calm person lives longer and life is fuller, stress and chaos everyday damages the glands in the body so are likely to die earlier than someone like me. Proven scientific facts and why die earlier than you plan to if life is good and enjoyable, plus money isn't everything I inow how to enjoy what I have and improve what I want to improve without spending ridiculous money for something made from the same place but because it's ashop in the city it's twice the price and a country walk is free and healthy and pleasant for almost everyone.

A lot of people but little public transport or shops and no access to the countryside except on designated footpaths. It's such a boring place.

2016-09-01 9:09 am
Neither.

I don't have the worth ethic to live on a farm, and cities are parlous and vile.

I prefer small towns or having many acres in the countryside for the sake of tranquility.

2016-08-31 11:09 pm
City for sure. I'm not a rural area type person and like the variety of a city.
2016-08-31 9:30 pm
Either as long as money's not an issue. Farming is a labour of love but terribly insecure with much work for little return. I love urban life too. Anything but the suburbs. To me that's like being walled up in a tomb.

It depends is prefer living in a suburb where it's not too loud nor too quiet. Both have advantages such as in the city, you'll be close to lots of places and have a nice view but at a farm you'll spend time with nature and be able to do more fun activities such as off-roading

After so many years in the city, I would love to live in a more rural area again. City's are great because everything is so close such as stores & malls, but then again the country is so peaceful & you can find alot more things to do on your own land & at your house that is so far apart from everyone else's. You can't really ride around on four wheelers & dirt bikes anywhere in the city either, lol. I wouldn't want to exactly love on a farm but in a more country area. A few farm animals are always fun to tho lol

Farm. Its peaceful and quiet and calms you down alot, especially when its rainy m. Just sit down on your rocking chair outside and watch the rain whilst sippig on your coffee. Going to the city occasionally for shopping, going out is fine. Also, your risk for things like cancer significantly decreases because of less stress, and more fresher food

City, I did both.

I grew up on a farm, then moved to the city. The city just has more amenities and job opportunities. The price of milk (for farmers to sell) fluctuates too much, so the country lifestyle isn't as peaceful and low stress as it should be. But how many people know that?

CITY can you answer my question please
2016-09-02 4:54 pm
A farm 15-30 miles from a big city.
That way I could have a house, yard, acres of trees and animals. Goats, chickens, ducks, maybe a horse,
Sleep late, Garden. Climb Trees, Paint the barn. stay up late looking at the stars.
And still go to ballgame or "Queen" concert or buy thread,a picture frame,or champagne in a big city with lots of choices. I could paint pictures of my goats and sell them in town. I could quilt a quilt at home - even outside- and mail it to Indianapolis or India.
參考: I live in a fairly small town (25,000) about 15 miles from a huge metropolitan area. I have neighbors and sidewalks, and firemen, and freeways to downtown art shows. Best of all possible worlds.
2016-09-02 4:15 pm
Everybody would prefer to live i a city due to job opportunityies and better entertainment facilities
However when reaching the age of retirement many people actually feel the need of moving to the country side to live a stress-free , quiet and peacefull life

I would choose farms because it's the closest to "suburbs in a forest" in Northern California. But that's not possible for me and for many others because of the accessibility to work and close connections. However, in the long run, it's a nice idea, to be connected with nature itself since it's what we've lost control of.

I prefer to live in the city. Mainly cause the b**ches got big booties and t*tties. And the b**ches pretty. Farm raised cornbread fed b**ches wack. Some got a** but their p**sies smell of cow back fat. Now I did f**k a b**ch from Georgia. Mahunta to be exact and the p**sy was wonderful. She had juicy phat backwoods booty. In fact, I think her p**sy did taste fruity. Anyway, her paw was a farmer, her maw???? was a Carver and they both was dumb as f**k. But the dad didn't know that his daughter was a ho and she rode black d**k with honor. As a dead giveaway, her parents are white, she's white and I am a brotha. By brotha I mean black, incest is wack I just didn't want you to think I was undercover. Anyway, we f*cked so good and the p**sy took wood all the way so deep in her tummy. Her paw walked in on her riding d**k like a pro and called me a n**ger and her a n**ger lover then he kicked us both out and his daughter out on her clothes with my semen dripping out of her cooch then we left.
參考: I ran out of rhymes.

City because there is more to do and when you need something you dont have to drive half an hour to get it. On the other hand, farms are quieter and a much nicer place to live than a busy loud city
