How to get people to display your paintings in a gallery and how much to price them?

You don't price the paintings, the gallery does.
That is the point of a gallery show, to sell paintings, they get a cut.

The easiest way to get a show is to network, going to other shows, introducing yourself as an artist. If you graduated from a reputable art school, you likely already have a network of other artists. You enter competitions. You invite people to your house to view your work.

You take photos and bring those to the gallery AFTER you made an appointment to talk to the gallery owner about a display or a show.

Join art groups and enter art competitions. This has worked for me for 30 years.
