When employers do background checks will u get hired if your cases are dismissed but still showing that they were convictions at one point?

I had a few criminal cases (misdemeanors) that were convictions at one point dismissed by the judge but they still show that they were convictions at one point. Im just curious how employers us this in the hiring process. If it will make a difference or not. (San Bernardino County, CA)
