Will it be hard walking again after a broken ankle?

I get my cast off next week and I've read that it's like teaching yourself how to walk all over again and it hurts and that it's depressing. Is that true?

kind of, sadly youll always have weak ankles now but you can do it. just remember you lived though the pain now its just the bore hard work
