Do you have to go to all your classes on the first day of college?

My friend told me that on the first day of school you have to attend all your classes even if you dont have that class that day school starts. I dont think it would even work but he said last year a professor told him that.

No you don't, you go when your time table shows which days to attend, I work in a college

You only attend the classes that meet that day.

No. If a class is listed as MWF, you go to it on the Monday that classes start. If it is listed TTH, no one will be there on Monday.

If you think about it - that would be impossible. Do you just choose when to show up to a class?

You go to class, first day and all others, according to the schedule you'll be handed...no more, no less.
