A book with 200 pages is 10 mm thick. If the relative error is 1/500, find the maximum absolute error of each page.?

true value ≒ 10 / 200 = 0.05relative error = maximum absolute error / true value
maximum absolute error
= relative error * true value
= (1/500) * 0.05
= 0.0001
Ans: For each page, the maximum absolute error is 0.0001 mm
