Will this harm my cat?

My 4 month old kitten loves to lick my hair. (Weird, I know.) I use styling gel and wonder if it will hurt the cat? Thx

It won't hurt the cat.My husband's earliest memories is waking up from a nap with his mom's cat licking his hair.She combed his hair with dippity-do (styling gel)

No but you should let them lick hair or string. There is a part in their throat that can easily get hairs and strings stuck and require surgery for removal.
