Does putting your hair up damage it?

I tend to put my hair up in a bun with a donut and elastic band to hold it in place but I just want to know if this damages it. The ends of my hair are slightly dry but that was from overusing dry shampoo which I don't do anymore and I never used to put my hair up then. I just want to know if what I'm doing now is damaging somehow and may contribute to my dry ends

No but just make sure you put you hair every now and then in a different style. Also, watch for tension when you wear your hair up. Keep where the band holds the hair loose so as not to be pulled to tightly. You can get a bald spot in the future if you don't.

it doesn't damage your hair (heat and chemicals tend to) so you should be ok, but try using an argan oil or moisturising and repairing hair oil if you have dry ends.
