the shop usually has a minimum charge. £40/£50 for a small tattoo in most shop I've been to around London.
up north I feel tattoos are cheaper. due to business rates / rent being less.
also depends on the artist. tattoo apprentices will most likely charge a lot less but will still do some incredible work.
best thing to do is research the best shop around you by looking at artists style of work on social media & then pop into the shop and they'll be more than willing to help you.
