Can't sleep because of a cricket!?

I sleep upstairs. Outside my window is the garage roof. I have no idea where this cricket is outside. I bang on the window and it'll stop for a few seconds...but as soon as I get back into bed it starts up again. It's driving me ******* crazy!!! I can't fall asleep! It sounds so loud!!! I don't know what to do! It's endless!
