Which do you prefer to live rural area, suburbs, or city and why?

I love living in the country as far away as I can get. I like my nearest neighbor within 5 miles. I love living near the woods and creeks.

It depends. When i feel like being alone, and i am depressed - i want to live in the middle of nowhere alone. When i am feeling okay and upbeat - i want to live in the city where all the bright things are.

If I had the wherewithal, I'd prefer to live in a rural area that is within reasonable driving distance of a small metropolitan area. I'm an at-home nudist and it would be great to be able to go outside naked on a hot summer's day, relaxing like that or even doing yardwork in the nude, and not having to worry about neighbors seeing and possibly reporting me. (Right now, I'm in the suburbs, so something like that is a no go... Have to be careful with curtains being closed, shades being down, too.) Within driving distance of said metro area, though, for purposes of easy shopping, access to culture, the like.

I like all of the above, but i like a SAFE Rural Environment if i could choose. But alot of rural areas are unsafe.
