I'm scared to join rowing...?

I've wanted to join rowing for so long but only ever really came around to doing it now( I'm almost 16) I'm just scared to join because I won't know anyone and I'm a bit shy and that when I join and am in the beginners club that everyone will be way younger than me? help:(

If you've wanted to do this for a long time and now you have the opportunity to start and learn, you have to do it. The age of the others doesn't matter. And as soon as you start training you get to know each other and get friendly. Do it!
