死者生前簽署；遺產執行人為死其親妹簡單字句(撕半的紙張)。
承繼人為死者的親子女。
基本上這文件是死者親妹全權策劃。
現在死者的子女(現今全都21歲以上)仍為遺產承繼人，從未看過處理遺產的數據或文件。
(死者去世時子女，滿18歲及18歲以下)
遺產由2008年至今，仍全由產執行人全權處理及擁有。
遺產承繼人可以申請公屋嗎？
死者名下有樓宇等資產。
亦有租金收入，這些收益入帳不在承繼人戶口裏。
問： 遺產執行人的權力或權限到何時？ 如何撇除/廢除遺產執行人？ 或 如何撇除<遺產承繼人>的掛名？ 希望申請公屋，因遺產亦沒機會承續。 辦以上的手續困難嗎？ 謝謝！?

1. Typically, the executor's authority is discharged when the distribution of the estate is completed, i.e. nothing has left.
2. No step is required as it is automatic (if the executor has done the job right, the executor should have nothing to manage or distribute, and any authority left will be meaningless).
3. Being an executor has no bearing to public housing. In other words, if a person is qualified, being an executor will not impact the eligibility.
(Note - the executor should only have control of the estate, not own the estate.)

想請問的死者的子女可以用這樣的身份去申請公屋嗎？
執行人一直以這身份管轄資產，沒有分配的意願。
作為子女，雖然遺產是自己的父親的，但是並不是希望分得遺產，而是希望撇除和這執行人的關係。
因居住在亡父的物業裏，撇除承繼人的名義，便失去居所，所以暫時不能作出這決定。
所以才想申請公屋居住。
