How can I get rid of this boil fast?

I have is very painful boil on my upper thigh. It popped a couple weeks ago but now it's really sensitive. How do I get rid of it I've been putting toothpaste on it but that doesn't seem to help. It feels raw

Toothpaste will make it worse!Apply warm compresses to it, Neosporin and keep it covered with gauze and tape.

use a hot compress on it or go to the doctor?
