因為your name不等同於you,是一件事(單數的第三者),所以動詞要用is,而非are。

your name = it
your father = he
your mother = she
用代名詞來想想看,你會發現以上都是第三者單數

For the second person imperatives,(第二稱单數) the typical imperative generally do not have a subject, but "you" is implied as subject. Rearrangement of "What s your name?"gives
"you" pronoun,(用代名詞) used as a subject
=You tell me your name is--------
=Your name is ------
For the plural in general(第二稱複數);rearrangement of "What re your name?":-
=Your names are------
=You all; your names are------
=You must all tell me your names
=Your names are-----,----,-----,-----.-
For first and third person imperatives(第一者第三者单數), it is formed with" let"."Let" may be a main verb( allow")eg:-
Let me put it this way in 1st and 3rd as expressed !
