how to get money for college fast?

I will start uni in 5 weeks and its going to cost me 12,000 pounds and i have about 4,000 in my bank account. So Ive got about 5 weeks to raise 8,000 pounds so essentially 1600 a week so 230 a day how can this be done? well going on my math it cant be done, so what are my options? they way I see it is I can take another year out in which case I will likely have a mental breakdown of some sort or I can forget about college altogether.

There is no fast way. Responsible parents save for the entire life of the kid to pay for college. Responsible kids work part-time jobs while in high school to pay for it.

Plan on taking loans or going part-time and working part-time to pay for it.

How long have you known about the tuition costs? When did you start planning for paying it? Wait a year, pile up the pounds and then start. Think of it as a working gap year.
