A simile is a comparison between two thaings that are alike that uses the word "like" or "as" in he comparison. Such as "cute as a kitten" or "crazy like a fox.".
An oxymoron is two words together that contradiction each other or make no sense such as "an intelligent idiot."
A metaphor is a figure of speech hat implies a comparison, but it does not just the word "like". Such as "the curtain of night" or "all the world is a stage."
