Yes. Whether active, Guard, or Reserve you are subject to deployments and short-notice taskings for the duration of your military career. They make no exceptions for being in school.
The ONLY reason the US taxpayer waste money training, paying, feeding, housing, clothing and providing benefits like education assistance is because you are expected to DEPLOY when ordered
I have no goddamn idea where you kids get the idea the military is a paid college completion program or a welfare jobs training program
if you are on active duty and choose to enroll in a school near where you're stationed, your schooling comes second to being on active duty. not to mention that both the Air National Guard and Reserves are subject to call up [usually for short periods] and, if that happens, you will NOT be exempt.
Yes. You are in the Air Force first, school second. If you are going to be deployed, don't take classes that term, unless they are offered online and you will be someplace with internet.
Yes. You will either complete the class on-line while deployed (if possible) or you will disenroll. Do you really think they are going to say, "Yes, you can miss the troop movement, we know you are special".
what a bunch of idiots here. the Air Force does not deploy anywhere. the Air Force does not use that term. the Air Force goes TDY, (temporary duty assignment). it can be a whole squadron that goes, a group of people, or you go by yourself. depends
