short questions on word choices?

The train is getting entry on Platform 6.
The train is arriving on Platform 6.

Are they the same in meaning? Please correct my sentences if they are not grammatically correct. Thank you!

getting entry makes no sense at all.
The train arrives AT platform 6. Passengers move on the platform. not the trains.

No-one would say 'getting entry' in that sense. It's always 'arriving'.
