HELP! I want to thread my eyebrows, but need my parents permission.?

SO, it all began with the idea of threading my eyebrows, with my friend, as a kind of 'prep for my birthday' BUT, knowing my parents they definitely won't support this.

I have these ideas? but not so sure of their credibility...

-Booking the 'threading' appointment and just making my dad take me, without explaining the location + purpose? (being very ambiguous)
-Asking my friends mother, who needs chill pills ALOOOT.
-I have (6 months? )overdue library books which NEED returning, and I could make my dad stop by the salon?

Are these ideas too out there, what should I do? Any other ideas??!

Until you are supporting yourself, living on your own, you are TOTALLY dependent on your parents for food, shelter, clothing, everything else.

It is a very poor idea to do something you know they wouldn't support.
Even WORSE is to lie or deceive or manipulate them, because then they will no longer trust you about anything .. they will monitor and double-check EVERYTHING you do.

As for threading your eyebrows . you know a HUGE part of growing up and becoming an adult is learning how to relax about things you DON'T have and AREN'T going to get.
Forget about threading your eyebrows. It makes no difference about who you are inside or whether guys like you.

Once you are on your own, you can thread your eyebrows if yu want.

And get those library books BACK to the library.

Time for you to start growing up and stop being such a child.

If you need your parents' permission, you need your parents' permission. What part of that don't you understand? Even if you got one of your parents to drop you off near the salon under some kind of pretext, what do you think would happen if you walked into the salon without a parent there to give their permission? D'uh! Learn how to think, child.

i think you should just tell them the truth, thats the only way you will get permission

You are asking for trouble and want to play your father for a fool. That seldom turns out well and then you will be asking how to regain their trust.
